HOW WAS JCF ACADEMY BORN?

To provide young football players in Melbourne with the chance to fulfil their footballing aspirations, JCF Academy was established by Jordan Cvitkovic. Young footballers rarely get access to high level coaching in Melbourne, which has a significant effect on their formative years.

Every family should have the opportunity to expose their child to top-tier football training and JCF Academy aims to provide every player a dream to pursue

At JCF Academy, we believe football development should be accessible for the whole family. To support our academy families, we offer 50% off for any siblings who are enrolled in our programs.

The first player pays the standard fee, while the sibling receives 50% off their program fees.

This discount helps make it easier for families with multiple children to stay involved and be able to have access to additional academy sessions.

NPL EXPERIENCED COACHES

At JCF Academy, our coaches combine NPL level experience with youthfulness and a modern understanding of the game.

Being young and actively involved in today’s football environment allows our coaches to relate to players, understand the way the modern game is developing, and deliver coaching that is relevant to today’s football systems, styles and demands.

Our coaches have experienced the pathway themselves and understand what young players need to develop not just technically, but also in their decision making, tactical understanding, confidence, mentality and overall approach to the game.

We believe being closer in age to the players helps create a stronger connection. Our coaches can communicate in a way young players understand, build trust and create an environment where players feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning.

We combine that connection with high-level football experience to create sessions that are modern, energetic, purposeful and player-focused.

SUCCESS STORIES

Sebastian Smorhaj

Following his previous season with the Keilor Park Wallabies. Jordan spotted Sebastian's talent and chose him to be a member of the Keilor Park Kangaroos squad, which he coached for the 2024 season. Sebastian was guided by Jordan at Keilor and JCF Academy all season. Because of his diligence and commitment, Sebastian was chosen by PSG to join their junior academy. PSG is one of the biggest clubs in world football located in France.

Oscar Watson

After two years being apart of JCF Academy and being coached by Jordan at club level at both Moreland City Wallabies and Keilor Park Kangaroos, Oscar has climbed all the way from a Wallabies U12 team to a division 1 NPL side. Oscar is a player who represents what JCF Academy is about and is a role model for all players in the academy. He applied himself in every session and game, now he is reaping the rewards playing in NPL.

Christian Cavarra

After just eight months with JCF Academy and a season under Jordan's guidance at club level with Keilor Park Kangaroos, Christian made significant progress and secured a position at a division 1 NPL team. Christian sets an excellent example and gives his all during each session, at the start of the season Christian was not close to the level of a NPL player. His enormous growth in such a short time was due to his enthusiasm and commitment to going above and beyond.

Saad Haider

Saad, one of the first youngsters Jordan ever coached, made the eight month journey from the same Wallabies squad as Oscar, to the Melbourne City youth academy. Saad is an incredibly talented football player who excels at having the ball at his feet. With the correct instruction, he was able to improve his positional awareness and ball-striking technique, making him an even greater player. His love of watching and playing football was a major factor in his rapid development.
